Unfortunately the stub through was off about a 1/4", but the first return piece also has a 1/2" offset so it wouldn't be slammed against the wall. The return stub was put directly against the drywall on the rough in and I'm not a big fan of scraping the walls putting drives on.

I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

Not a fan of flex connectors at all but I have used them occasionally. Good to see someone else use metal though!
