Reznor Warehouse Furnace
I am confused at this point ...... so I have reznor warehouse furnaces .... i can get the exact model if needed, well we went to fire them up this year and alot of them are not working so based on what i had found last year with 2 other ones, I know i have to replace the honeywell vr8305k4241 valve, so i ordered a new one and replaced it still the same thing so i came to discover that the actual regulator was bad and not letting gas through so i replaced the regulator today and still nothing, it does not seem that gas is getting pas the honeywell valve and i veried i am getting gas up to the valve, the the furnace goes through its cycle you can hear and feel the valve "turn on" but still no gas, does anyone have any suggestions? I even tried for the hell of it another valve that i had and the same thing i am stumped
thanks

What was the voltage at the valve when you herd it " turn on" and what gas pressure did you set the new regulator for. If the gas pressure is too high, the valve won't open.

Could have saved some time by troubleshooting a little better!

Check the burner orifices to see if they are plugged. I've seen them plugged with bugs and spider webs. Also check gas pressure in and out of valve.

Then set the gas pressure with your manometer.... Had new Honeywell valve today that wasn't set from the factory. 0" wc

keep throwing parts at it; there aren't but ...what 6 parts total, then you'll have spares for the next go round.

Manual safeties, flame rod, control voltage, thermostat, gas pressure in, gas pressure out, end switch, Induced draft motor, flue, ignition control, plenty of things that can be diagnosed as good or bad. Starting off with the correct installation and operation manuals is always good. Most can be found online for free.

I am assuming your the property owner or his rep or employee...
May I suggest having a competent local contractor assist you ...
Gas is nothin' to play with or guess if it's right.....
You should know your pressures incoming to the regulator ,after the reg, after the valve and if it's modulating high and low fire need set properly as well...amongst other things....mikeacman

I was working on some reznors with problems. I finally found out that after running for about 7-8 minutes, the pressure on the pressure switch would slowly and steadily drop until it would start cycling the pressure switch and slamming the gas valve open and closed enough that it would fail. I didn't find out till using a manometer with a tee and wondering what the H**l was going on.
