International Harvester Freezer
A buddy wants a new compressor for his International Harvester freezer the one that is on it is noisy. Mo# 11FC Ser#45842 B8. The problem is that the numbers on the compressor do not come up for Tecumseh. May be a Americold/Hupp compressor or made by some manufacture I never heard of. Numbers on the compressor are 50G127042 and R4811591G1. Here are some pictures of the unit and compressor. Any info would be helpfull as to what compressor I can put on this.

I did the same for a friend's '52 IHC chest freezer. Ended up installing an Embraco, new cap tube and R404a. Works good.

I think I sized it at 800 BTU. The old compressor was a 1/6 HP R-22 believe it or not, with a static condenser. This was only a 7 cu ft apartment sized freezer and the only reason I was willing to repair it.
(Low-temp R22 in 1952 seemed ahead of it's time)
