mcquaid heat pump trouble
Got called to no heat. upon arival the heat pump was tripped on high head pressure. first i noticed that the fan was burned out and replaced that. still tripped out if reset within minutes. I replaced my filters, coils are clean and have water flow (water supplied heat pump). i know my water temp is 78 degrees. what is happeneing is that the high side runs 400 psi+ if i let it run and low side runs from 70-80 psi. i pulled my charge and recharged to factory charge. the only thing I can think of is a restriction in the system most likely in the cap tubes. Just wondering if im missing anything.

If you have 78* water and 400 psi?
Your approach is too high.
Fouled tubes.
Does not sound like your heat xchanger is xchanging much heat.
