Confused Warnock Hersey gas Fireplace insert

I have a Warnock Hersey gas fireplace insert. It says it was made by Empress Fireplace Heaters Mfg, Inc. It is Model Empress 736 and serial # WH-606419 from 1984. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find parts for this fireplace insert and where I can find the manual or parts list for this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Warnock Hersey was the test lab--not the mfr. This mfr. is no longer in business to my knowledge. At 28 yrs old, its probably time to junk that old clunker and replace the entire fireplace.

It is surprising how many people do not know this, and I mean those in the service side.
The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and stamps EVER.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals". Their stated reason for this policy "... the animals become dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."
