York YT Refrigerant Level Control Problems
We have a York YTK7C8F1-CSJ machine that we can't seem to stablize the condenser refrigerant level. With a setpoint of 50%, it hunts +/- 25%, no matter how we set up the valve control settings. This chiller operates under near stable load conditions (data center). What is a normal fluctuation for the level? Is +/- 5% a realistic goal? We have calibrated the level sensor per York's service bulletin. Any more info needed, let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the forum you posted in is an open forum and I, for one, will not get into specific troubleshooting procedures or post service related literature in this forum. +/ 5% is not an unrealistic band around a 50% level setpoint.
If you choose to hang around, get your post count up and apply for pro membership we go into detail in the pro forums.
