    mini split enhanced controls

    Installed minisplit at son's place, works well.

    Since at a relative's house, thought to do some experimenting as time available.

    Has IR remote control, looks to be RS485 links.

    Anybody hacked the protocols on one of these (I'm too lazy to do it right now myself) to interface with laptop?

    Looks like it would be a simple matter to do a normal tstat by adding a couple of relays.

    Is it a mitsu? They have a few different wall mount control options. They also have an app for smartphone control of several units.
