Confused connecting power to heat strip

I have a HKR-20C strip for Goodman 4 ton package heat pump. The instructions are not real clear about connecting power.
Says connect to terminal blocks. DO I use a jumper from block 1 to block 3 then 2 to 4?

Just because you got a company to install it does not mean it is proffesional. With that lets say it was done proffesionally things do go wrong with equipment so why would you try to repair it by yourself? It should be under warranty by instal company.

make sure your"Fan" setting on thermostat is not set to "ON" instead of "AUTO". If it's on "ON" then the fan will run continuously.

If your unsure about the way your contractor installed something, you can post a picture of it, and we can tell you if it was installed correctly.

We cannot help you DIY this though. If the point of your vist is to fix it yourself, then your out of luck. Do not expect any steps in fixing any problem, other than to call your installing contractor.

What I will say, is there are certain applications where what it seems your describing is allowed, provided certain parts are used.

    Highly doubtfull, to be honest.

I've put in hundreds of hkr heat kits, over a period of 8 years. I've never seen one wired wrong from the factory. Plus, the heat kit doesn't control fan operation.
