    What Fuse?

    Found this in a 3 year old 60hp supply fan frequency drive at a new account.

    No worries, they were trying to figure out what kept blowing the fuses by blowing it up.....

    The more I see of things like this the less they surprise me. Never less, I like to see them. I like to think they will receive a Darwin Award someday.

    Those are the fuses for the control transformer primary. One fuse remains, and the TX is a single-phase load, so it's still protected against overcurrent. If the transformer primary were to go to ground though, not so much. Not as scary as bypassing the incoming line fuses, but still entertaining...

    I usually find a piece of copper just jammed in where the fuse goes. I once found one a piece of wire in one I knew the other tech did just a few days prior and called him about it. "I didn't have any fuses," was the response. Tell it to the judge when your on trial for negligible homicide.

    Dose guys dont no nuttin'. Dey usin a ground wire on a hot terminal. Couldof at least used a black or red wire. Geeze.

    he coudent even get the bottom slide on connector under the screw supriszed it runs at all
