Does anyone know if there is a hyperterminel app. for an iPhone would love to be able to check up on our Siemens network if I am not near a computer.

Hyperterm is nothing more than a terminal emulator.
Search telnet in the app store and I'm sure you will find something. I have one for android, though never tried with Siemens.
They will not work over serial of course...Propagating the formula. http://www.noagendashow.com/

Serial adapter, now that's pretty cool. Have not spotted that for the droids yet...

I guess I should have been more clear I want to enter the system via analog phone modem, all the apps I have looked at are through the Internet by IP address I do not think there is any way to go over the network unless you have insight

You can telnet into a IP controller using the command prompt of a computer on the network. If you had a app that simulated a command window and you were connected to the network wirelessly that might work.

Best bet is setup an old PC in the office that can connect to dial up modems, then use remote desktop software to remote in to that PC to then dial out to site. Teamviewer remote control software works great for remote control of PC but is a little expensive for commercial use (non-commercial use is free).
