I am a student and need some help please
A service technician is charging an air-conditioning system that has a TXV as the metering device using the subcooling method of charging.
The high-side saturation teperature is 110 degrees farenhieght and the unit's technical manual specifies 10 degrees farenhight of liquid subcooling.
What would the desired liquid-line temperature be at the condensing unit. I am totaly stuck yall!

I think this exercise is trying to get you comfortable with these terms and how simple the solution actually is.
So lets start with a question. What is your understanding of what liquid subcooling is?

I thought 100 degrees was right but I wasnt sure. I was working on some review questions out of my book, and that one just had me totally stumped. Thanks everybody!

TXV means you will get constant superheat ...
which means you want to fill the condenser just enough to guarantee a liquid seal at the metering device(txv)
110 - 10 = 100 degrees to get the manufacturers requirement.Economy - Quality - Speed <---- pick two
