    Air flow measurement at kitchen vent hood

    Hello Gentlemen,

    How does one measure air flow (cfm) at the kitchen vent hood? Or does one check at the exhaust duct as it exits the building?

    some manufacturer spec sheets will give you cfm values based on static pressue
