Found this Trane package unit, a YYC42 I think, sitting on the ground behind the house. Forgot to take pic of unit. Will post that one Monday, cause we're going back w/ HX and burners. But this unit was sitting on the ground. As you can see the consequences after only 10 yrs.

Can't get the pic of the drip leg resting in the ground to print. It's the only thing supporting the gas line cause the single bracket holding it to the wall was pulled out by the weight.

We're awl pawthetic and kweepy and can't get giwrls. That's why we fight wobots.

You got ten years out of that heat exchanger? not bad I've see'em go in a lot less than that even when they are on RT's. Was told that the cold air from the A/C system causes most of the problems with these heat exchangers. Hey you can always can always rewire the unit so that the heat comes on to reheat the supply during a/c season, really helps with high humidty problems in stores. Blows your mind when you see the heat and a/c running on a hot humid august day, but all the condensation magically disappears in about an hour or so. Really cool to see.
So you didn't ask, what you though was a stupid question. Now how, are you going to tell the boss about your stupid screw up?
