What do you guys plan on doing with all that?
Are you trying to become a Epa approved facility?
I think there will be some money to be made in the upcoming years.
I'm a federal employee at a dept of defense chopper repair facility...I'm hoping to be able to save a ton of money by eliminating our costs for refrigerant....there is at least a half million pounds of r22 on this depot.
We have already put policy in place that no matter who owns the equipment the refer stays at the facility...
At first I was against spending the money...but with the rising cost of r22 I gave in

neat. What do choppers use refrigerant for? Or is it a huge hangar you are responsible for?
The only US army chopper with ac it's the apache, but my main job is equipment maintenance...the depot tears down and rebuild the choppers for all branches off the US military, 14 foreign militaries, and we even do work for Boeing and other private businesses (who says the govt doesn't make money)
We just picked up the shadow project as well..

pretty cool. how much can that thing process before it needs servicing? I assume it's field servicable? sounds like you're going to be workin pretty hard.
Not sure...I haven't even read the instructions yet...
The base is in pretty good shape...it mutt jib to ensure that the machines needed to rebuild the voters can run 24/7 sho we have equipment cooling systems in place...not to mention the heat test and foundry shop with there 1940 melting pot furnace...first time I worked on that thing I was scared ****less....the burner is the size of a small car
