Gib's son, I'll bet you've never heard this song. I remember when I was like in the 4th grade a kid brought this 45 record to school, and I remember seeing the song and the group on one side of it. Did you like black R&B groups of the 60's & 70's? This song 1967.
Thats funny....I have not heard the Dells in years. How about these guys.

I've certainly heard of Lou Reed, but I don't remember this song. Is he also the one playing the guitar solo? He reminds me of David Bowie--seems to be running with a little sugar in his tank, but I don't know for sure.

No he is not playing lead....he is nowhere near that good of a guitarist. That's when he played with The Velvet Underground. It's the only album of his I ever heard that I liked.

Other good songs on that one are White Lightning, Sweet Jane and Heroin.

I don't know much about him but I think he might be a homosexual and is/was a heroin attic. I only say that he might be homosexual by some of his tunes.....Walk on the Wild Side and Waiting for My Man. But who cares if he is....I know I don't.

Just read about him on Wikipedia. Looks like he was married to 2 or 3 different women, so maybe I am wrong about him being a homosexual. Yes, that is some good guitar work in that song.
