Manitowoc evap plate wasted

I've had some luck tapping the loose grids back in place and "pinging" the grid intersections with a small punch. Buys some time but a plate or machine replacement is the final solution.

hey guys customer finally opted for a new plate. harvest is accomplished in 1 minute 10 sec.
he is happy to see a full bin. what a difference!

I hate to admit it but you can use a chisel to lock the grid back tight again, that way iit won't creep back out for a few months anyway. Just tap an overlying grid over the loose one.

I've done this repair (temp only) on scotsman's, mani's, and iom's.
Some with great success, some are toast!
