We have a Honeywell M9185 D1004 actuator controlling a heating valve. These valves are counterclockwise movement when we lose power. The heating valve is open 100% on clockwise.

Wright now, the 0-10VDC control signal controls the valve 100% open at 10VDC and 0% at 0VDC. But if we remove the 24VAC, the valve goes counterclockwise and closes the valve. I know there is a M9186 model which is spring return cloclwise with no power.

But before we move forward and replace it, since the M9185 has two connections on either end, can we turn around the actuator. If one end turns counterclockwise, would the other end be turning clockwise.
