    Smile Help Locating Trane XV80 Furnace Part

Size:  65.8 KBHello, the DOOR LATCH on my Trane XV80 Furnace broke. The door has two latches to keep it closed. Its looks like a simple part ..but NO one seems to have it !! I called the useless Trane customer service and they didnt even have a part number to help me with. Can anyone help me find this part?? Thank You...all help will be greatfully appreciated!!!

    Call a local Trane dealer. Start there. They may have a latch in stock especially if it's a common break problem.

    I called the local guy near me.....he didnt want to bother looking around for such a small part...guess I wont be goin back to him!!!

    That's actually model number for the indoor coil, not the furnace. May need to look inside the door for a sticker with the model/serial information.

    Sorry about that ..I was looking at some info I wrote down and I assumed it was the model #....Im not home to open the door and find the serial number..but it looks exactly like the picture I posted ..if that helps any..can there be that many different door latches for this thing?????
