Not much right with this. If anything
Furnace service call I ran into a couple of years ago. Furnace was vented into the metal chimney. Needless to day it was easy to sell them on some new venting. I even went as far as talking to the local supply house that sold the unit to the "contractor" and showed them the picture. Gives them something to think about, when they sell to anybody that walks through the door.

wow..... what a mess....
it was working.... played with it.... now its broke.... whats the going hourly rate for HVAC repair

How did he even get a conector to go from metal to pvc? That is one scary furnace.

as for the supply house, they do not care where their money comes from, for the most part.
once out the door, they have no liability anyway.If Guns Kill People, Do Pencils Misspell Words?
