Wiring heat pump to prestige thermostat and HZ322

    Hey guys,
I am a plumber gasfitter and refrigeration tech and I am stumped!!! I am trying to wire in my XL15i heat pump with a TUHMB060 furnace and a Honeywell HZ 322 zone board. I can't get the thermostat to do auto change over. It will only run in heating or if I switch the o/b options on the zone panel it will switch but will not via the t-stat. Also the t-stat says "heat on" the system does nothing then it goes to aux heat where the heat pump kicks on runs perfectly and then satisfies. Now I want to have my gas kick on as back up heating and this doesn't happen either. I have looked at the wiring 100 times and am burnt out by it. Can anyone help with this?
Thanks guys for taking the time. I'm sure it's something simple that I am missing.

I think you need the HZ432K zone panel to do what your trying to do.

Rule #1, don't trust your wholesaler! I took a gander at the 322 manual and see no instructions for dual fuel. Better look into the 432 as it WILL do dual fuel.

hz322 and the honeywell 8000, tstat controls auto changover with outdoor sensor installedon tstat s1s2, or hz432 with honeywell 6000 zone board with outoor sensor controls auto changeover. For dual fuel set up. Hope this helps

You can do it with the HZ322, but you need a Fossil fuel kit
