Charging water source heat pump via sh
Hey guys,
I'm not one who works on WS heat pumps often, but I've been assigned a hotel that has a load of them. Anyway getting down to the question. It's an old McQuay unit (1988). I'm just looking to top of the unit I'm currently working on, that uses a R-22. In the shop they've got access to the loop. The temp usually sticks to 72.
Should I choke the supply line to stimulate a 95 degree water coil condenser? But at the same time I've heard that 85 degrees is ideal for the heat pump loop with no more than a 10 degree diff. Any info could save me a bunch. Thanks in advanced. I can post some psi if you guys need.
