looking for some pointers. basically its a new trane r-410 A/H and cond. installed 2 months ago found unit is low on ref. they used the old r-22 lines most likely the leak is in the lines. but ill like to verify. im going to isolate and pressure test liq and suction seperate, then the evap coil is an aluminum coil i hear they leak alot, now my big question is do you think i should recover the charge instead of pumping down, then pressure test the cond. coil also, but i dont think ive seen a new cond coil leak but thats why im here i need your input. i dont work in residential everyday. sorry i didnt grab model and serial # the cond. coil is the famous aluminum trane spine fin.
