Too many people want free stuff and republicans don't promise to give them as much as democrats. As long as there are more people riding in the wagon than pulling it, democrats will be elected.
Eventually they'll go too far though, and the pendulum will swing the other way.

Hopefully there will be something rise from the ashes of the GORP to counter the dems.
Marco Rubio aint it though.....lol
Remember before the election.... all you heard was chris christie.....and then bams pulled this one out of the hat and now all Im hearing is marco rubio.....
Id rather see christie...or even bobby jindal... Christie would probably have the best chance though.... that is if his fellow GORP buddys...... former GORP buddies...cause the GORP is dead.... but anyhow... Christie would have the best change in 2016 if his former GORP buddies didnt drag him down... and they will if he runs..... cause he praised obama for helping Jersey.....
I saw Christies praise as a little butt kissing that got things done for New Jersey..... too bad others cant see it that way.
But thats the GORP.... or that WAS the GORP..... cause the GORP is now dead.....
deader than a doornail....
deader than 4 o'clock on a sunday afternoon in Big Stone Gap Virginia......
deader than Osama bin Ladens rotting fish eaten corpse..... probably the most kind thing osama ever did.... he became fish food.....lol
Lets all refer to Osama as fish food from now on.Let go of my cracker jacks, If you dont Im going to have to beat you....... now then hand my captain crunch back over to me this instant.....or else !!!

Neither Rubio or jindal qualify for potus, their parents were not legal citizens of the US when they were born. At least that's the word on the streets.

Don't think parent's status matters. If you are born here YOU'RE American. Otherwise the Dear Leader we currently have would have been gone before he ever got in.......

Very true, what's also true: Perception is more important than the facts when it comes to politics. Certain segments of the population are calling them "Obama phones". He gets credit for it even though the seed of the program started during President Reagan's term. We could refer to them as Reagan phones, I suspect the meme would not displace the Obama phone meme neither Democrats or Republicans want Reagan to be known for starting a government subsidy.
“I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”
― Benjamin Franklin
