My agent wants a considerable amount more if I do LP... so I do not... however that is an option (not to do LP) in my area.

I suspect if you shop enough... you will find someone.

Question for you; are you being told you have to pay high premiums for 3 years until you establish a track record of no claims... that is what they told me back when I first got Gen/Liab insurance. Been a decade now... no claims, and my rates are low compared to others.

try Harrah insurance i think they're in the mercer- hamilton area.

we stopped doing any lp work when the state required certification for it a few years ago, i would of had to travel 2 days to north jersey and the class was over $1,000.

i didn't see more than 2 lp furnaces in a year so didn't bother with it.

So you can't get insured to even service a furnace that's running on L.P.!? That's rough, in my area there are whole days that all I work on is L.P. Gas packs, maybe it's easier to get insured in areas with high demand because the insurance agencies are familiar with it.

I just signed up for a policy today that includes LPG equipment and the price was very cheap. I went to a online broker. It is a b rated company which from my understanding unless your doing govt contracting work where they require A rated companies it should work just fine. Pm me for the web address if you like anymore info. I'm just starting out too. Not sure if u can post the web link if not.
