how does one create a robot? what is the process?

First, establish what job do you want to create a robot to perform...

Then, right click on the "Program Service" - "Views" - "Robot Editor"...

Then code away with JAVA...

When your done, save, right click on "Program Service" - "Actions" - "Run Robot" and away she goes.

If your not fluent in JAVA, then there's really no benefit to you as you have to completely code it yourself to perform a task.

nope ... reports.jar ... open the report palette

ExportSource -> EmailRecipient -> outgoingAccount

use a Trigger to send whenever you want

i try to add the report service to the "services" folder of my jace. i get and error "drop failed". any ideas why the jace is not accepting the service??

Is this station on your local platform or on a JACE?

If its on a JACE, your JACE is probably missing the report .jar

If its on your local platform, you may be missing it as we'll, but the AX software comes with the report module.
