Hello all. it just happened today at johnstone's supply house. was calling around for compressor price for a rtu Was quoted one price over the phone, was a good price. But when i got to the store he had the wrong compressor and charged me a different price for the correct one. Asked him about it, and he sold me the compresser for the cheaper price. It was about 120 dollar saving. So not all johnstone supply houses are bad..but there not all cheap either.

you should consider yourself lucky...they actually had something in stock. I won't go there because they never have anything or say it's at a different location or rape you on the price.

Well around here( omaha, ne ) we only have a few places we can go. So you just pick and choose where you go, depending on what you need. usually johnstone is the last place i go, just because they are either toooooo pricy and don't normally have what i need at that time.

I don't see whats such a big deal with a DIYer changing an ignition module or switch, after all, anyone, I mean, anyone can fool with their brakes on their car and turn it into a 5,000 lb killing machine.

to test brakes on a car one begins slow and works their way to speed. to test if your furnace is right one must throw yourself at the mercy of wide arsed open and hope it was done right. also on the car if things ar'nt right you know it instantly but would you jump in the car and drive while asleep? after you go to bed that furnace is still just chugging down the road...
