and definitely not term it as ASHRAE guidance.
As far as R.H.% comfort level is concerned, > 50% is QUITE NOTICABLE as ANNOYING / DISLIKED to the Majority of people.
I would go as far as saying > 55% R.H. indicates that A/C equipment is truly disfunctional IMO.
