Ridgid lifetime warranty on cordless tools
I bought a Ridgid cordless set (the big $550 one) and sent off all the paperwork for my Lifetime Service Agreement. It took about 10 weeks and now Ridgid's website shows all of my tools with serial #'s as being covered. Home Depot even swaps batteries with you right at their store so no waiting for them to be sent off and repaired. Anyone ever deal with replacing a battery or tool? Seems like an unbeatable deal...

My only warranty claim with Ridgid was a broken head on my seesnake. I took it back to the distributor and was given a replacement, no questions or paper work.

It's a bit more of a hassle on our side of the border.. I registered my warranty but didn't have the papers.. Of course when the time for a warranty claim came up, they were "unable to find me in the system".. Ended up not bothering and switching to Bosch.
