    Lochinvar Knight retro fit

    An apartment building in flint mi change-out and re-pipe. 2 Lochinvar Knight boilers. we didnt install the waterheater with the crooked recirc. line. completed by myself and an apprentice. questions and comments welcomed

    what are the maintenance needs of these high efficiency machines

    As far as My end goes annual CSD-1 and backflow testing and Cleaning of each boilers heat exchanger. Building maintenance must visually inspect once a month

    Those 4" flues are fun. Did some on a triangle tube boiler.

    Yeah the best part of the venting was dropping 35' of 4' sch 40 down the existing chimney 4 times to direct vent each unit. There was no place to sidewall vent.

    Glad im not the only one that has used the existing chimney to run vent pipes out!

    Looks really nice

    Are those redundant pumps? Or are they both used together?

    Yes one pump is for redundancy.
