I scrapped a few a while back. You can get some decent copper out of them. It takes a lot of contactors to make it worth it. The best way to get them apart, from my experience, is a hammer. Whack them good to bust the plastic, pull out the contacts and copper bridges and the coil and move on. Some of the contacts on better quality ones are silver so try to collect those if you can. even if they are burnt or pitted. Thats really the only reason I take them apart.
