Thanks for the replies. supertek, my ladder looks worse than that one did but i havent noticed any splinters. Thanks for the pictures.
I think i will take a closer look at my ladder this weekend and then talk to the boss

The big boss for the company that I work for has a fiberglass extension ladder that literally showers me in glass every time I set it up. I've complained (good naturedly) and he smirks and says that it doesn't bother him...probably because it doesn't come off the truck very often without someone doing it for him. So do I have a legitimate ***** about safety concerns, or just whining because I don't like to be covered in glass?
