Newbie to the forum, been doing controls since DDC was an infant.
Submitted on the Viconics but the Engineer wants a stat with a minumum of 3min on/off and does not like the limitation of 4 cycles per hour in cooling mode.
These will go on Heatpumps. Needs to be BACnet to interface into the BMS. LON is not an option.

may be look at:
mach-stat from http://www.reliablecontrols.com

Won't work only has 16 addresses and no provision for a
DA-T. Looking at the HW T7350 but it only does 4 cooling cycles per hour.

Hi desert guy..
Hi desert guy..
Give me a call.
I work for Viconics.
Give me a call. 1 800 563 5660 ext 220.
I think I know why the engineer refused it. And if the case it's easy to explain that there is no issue.
A lot of time, they expect these to work like a regular thermostat....but there is more to it.
The actual limitation if needed is a lot more than 4 CPH.

>Won't work only has 16 addresses
? not sure what you mean
>no provision for a DA-T.
It has 4 universal inputs and 4 dedicated ones. You program them to do what you want.
Are we talking about the same product here?
I am by no means promoter of reliable or a discreditor but if a bacnet product is what you want then they seem like a good choice.
>it only does 4 cooling cycles per hour
Please keep in mind that most thermostat manufacturers come up with these numbers because of a properly designed space and equipment should not have to exceed these general numbers.
good luck.

Hey Code,
Whats up? Did you get my e-mail?
-
Code Writer,
With the use of the FLG 7350 sub base it can. There is also a LON version. We are an authorized HW and Alerton dealer and have installed some that are talking Lon but have not done any BACnet installations yet.
The FLG is on the Alerton Dealer website but you can probably find some info out there if you look.

jimmy, forgot, will check it now... duh
desert guy, Im a HW webs dealer but never knew they had a bacnet sub, wow, learn something every day. Not that I see myself ever needing it, but good to know just incase.

if you are looking for bacnet SIMPLE thermostats
http://www.scillc.com
they have GREAT STUFF ,
-
desertguy,
You probably were looking at the Smart Stat LCD (SSL) on Reliable controls website, it is their "smart stat" for their controllers. The MACH-Stat (http://www.reliablecontrols.com/prod...ontrollers/MS/) is their fully programmable controller that is native BACnet.
