HVAC technician education
Hi
Im currently in an HVAC technician in canada and the course is 1800 hours total. I've been looking at HVAC technician courses in florida and saw some that are only 2 months long. My question is this, how good are these 2 month courses compared to a year and a half long one? (we do waste a lot of time on nothing in out course)

If you plan on being an actual technician in Canada, you'll be wasting your time and money in Florida.
No jurisdiction will recognize that training.

Agree, Im from Florida and it wasn't even all that great.. your better off in Canada, haha it was decent though now that im in the field Im questioning alot of things for someone who went to school. I was in school for a year and a half, plus it involved an internship doing refrigeration and controls for the school district.
