Running a nail gun off a nitro tank?
Has anyone ever used their nitro set up to power a nail gun? I'm planning a project on my camping land and would like to avoid bringing the generator and compressor for a few dozen nails.

A few dozen nails... drive em by hand.
Or use the nitro. I drive my impact with mine. It should work fine regulated down to 120psi

I appreciate the comedy Rob but obviously swinging a hammer is not an option, or I wouldn't have asked the question.
JD, give me an idea of how much impact usage you can get on a 40cf tank, thanks.

You won't get a ton of shots on a nitro tank. You'll have to figure how many cf your gun takes per shot.

Looks like the N88WW requires 7.5 cfm @ 80psi for 100 nails a minute. Without doing any math I think I can get 50 nails out of a 40cf

Try CO2 for something like that, you'll get a lot more usage with the same size tanks..

Co2 may be your better choice and your cordless impact driver will be your best with some screws.
