    Republican Voter Turnout

    Check this out:

    .................Dem..................Rep
    2008..........69,456,897........59,934,814 (McCain)
    2012..........60,840,934........57,940,881 (Romney)

Romney got 2 million less than McCain.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_...election,_2012

With all the hype, I thought 2012 would have a higher
Republican turnout than 2008. But there were a lot of
voters who were disillusioned with Obama and switched
over to Romney this time around, so that means Reps
    really dropped the ball.

Eric Erickson says Romney never connected with the
American public because he was a rich guy and he
acted like one. (He also says Republicans have
forgotten how to talk to women.)

I liked Romney better than McCain. And I liked Ryan
better than Palin. I guess Palin was a bigger factor in
the 2008 election than I realized.

The republicans are scared to put in a strong candidate for fear of scaring off the moderate/independant vote. The last 2 republican primaries have been a joke. They need to hire a new PR firm

This is your correct answer, spot on jab.

The same people who are happy to stand in line and fill out forms and work the system for free housing and free food-stamps and free income and free condoms find the act of voting, with their vast abundance of free time, a simple task of minimal effort. And those same persons have a very predictable political position.

Disagree. Without Palin a great many of us would have stayed home. Other than his service in war I found McCain to have zero redeeming qualities. Liked Sara, detest McCain.

McCain was no different than Romney. A moderate at best.

Anyone who is unable to answer a simple question such as "What do you read" while giving an award winning dramatization of Deer Caught In Headlights is not exactly ready for prime time.

Palin has reached her level of competence as vacuous D-List celebrity.

Ryan at least had that cool Eddie Munster hair thing workin for him.

Yeah, it couldn't have been McCain's fault bailing on the debate, to go to Washington where he wasn't wanted or needed and ended up doing nothing.

Only the left believes it was Palin's fault.

    Giving interviews.

Besides, democrats have shown they don't like successful women as leaders. Hillary, Palin, Ferraro, etc.

Was going to say what about Pelosi, but then remembered who I was talking about.... Not sure that one is a woman, definetely not a lady!

The Dems on assistance went to the poles early. The Republicans were all working & by the time they got off work, ate dinner & prepped to go vote- the election was already called in their state.
