Looks like the latest attack on rights is both 1st and 2nd amendments...

I will admit this is a 'drive by post'... as I have not had time to thoroughly read through and study the links in the material...
However we DO know the current occupant of the WH does not like the Constitution, does not like freedom, and does not like guns in hands other than govt...

Now that the constitution is relegated to the toilet, the communists in the pale house and both chambers demonstrate their hate for the US grand experiment.
New Gun Control Regulation Still Moving Forward

    Fellow Conservative,
Last month, I told you about a dangerous new regulation that, if enacted, would completely gut both the First and Second Amendments. Well, the Obama administration is moving forward with it and we are approaching its full enaction.
A new poll recently published shows that 33% of Americans, when asked, have no idea what the 1st Amendment protects. Only 57% of Americans understand that the 1st Amendment protects the freedom of speech. This is just so mind boggling.
Now, you’re probably asking what the freedom of speech has to do with the 2nd Amendment and gun control.
Well, imagine a world where you are prohibited from talking about guns on the internet; where there is a complete ban on instructional content and reviews. Imagine a world where the penalty for posting a gun-related Youtube video is 20 years in prison.
If Obama gets his way with his latest gun control executive action, this will become the reality!
Now Obama wants to make you a felon if you even talk about guns. Demand that Congress stop this unconstitutional regulation before it is too late!
It’s important to understand where this is coming from. Historically, the State Department has taken it upon itself to regulate firearms being trafficked out of the country. Known as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), these rules control the import and export of defense-related articles and services.
Stopping someone from sending weapons to ISIS is one thing, but now the State Department believes it has the power to regulate and outlaw firearm knowledge on the Internet. They want to make you a criminal for sharing firearm knowledge online, even if it means violating your free-speech rights.
In the 1990s, computer scientists came up with what was, at the time, unbreakable computer security software. They combined series of numbers, letters, and symbols and what they got was an unbreakable code. Instead of allowing this software to be shared with the world, the State Department classified it as “munitions” and outlawed it from being disseminated.
The State Department is taking this same principle and trying to expand it to regulate even more protected free speech.
According to the latest update to the Federal Register, the State Department is aiming to “address the electronic transmission and storage of unclassified ‘technical data’ via foreign communications infrastructure.” In layman’s terms: if you talk about firearms online, and foreigners could possibly learn from it, you’d be a felon.
Here, the fight to protect the First and Second Amendments becomes one. The Obama administration is trying to sneak this regulation through without fanfare or media coverage. But now that you know, you have an obligation to rise up and stop it!
We still have time! Click to stop Obama from gutting the First and Second Amendments!
This is a cut-and-dry case of the Obama administration going too far. The penalty for breaking these new regulations is up to a million dollars and 20-years in prison! That would be the penalty for exercising your rights in Obama’s America…
It has never been easier to get into the shooting sports. Never shot a gun before? Don’t worry, there are tons of resources online to teach you how. Scared about disassembling and cleaning your gun for the first time? There are YouTube videos there to show you the way.
Everything you need to know about guns is at your disposal on the Internet and you are free to add to that discussion. However, the Obama administration wants to make all of this illegal.
This is nothing but an attempt to attack the first two amendments of the Bill of Rights. This new regulation was hidden within the Federal Registry announcements. If the Obama administration got its way, it would have stayed hidden.
But as I said earlier, now you know and with that knowledge comes a responsibility to stop it from going into effect!
We only have a short amount of time before this proposed rule change becomes permanent. It will take an act of Congress to put a stop to this madness. It is up to you to reach out to every single Congressman and Senator and force them to stop this unconstitutional executive action!
The future of the Bill of Rights hinges on this. Force Congress to stop Obama’s latest gun control executive actions!
    Sincerely,
    Joe Otto

I disagree with just about everything you said. However I do agree that it;s appalling that most Americans have never even read the constitution. I can quote most of it which is why I feel safer when I'm around police. I know my rights and that's why nobody can step on them.

You're right in many ways. The police are killing American citizens at a rate of about 2 per day. However, if you get it on film you can sue the city who protects them into bankruptcy. Meanwhile, if the police know they are on film and you know you're rights they generally wise up.

That is if you live through them emptying their guns into your chest.

The problem dealing with cops is that they can lie when giving you legal advice. They can tell you that you are obligated to talk to them, when you actually have the Right to not say a word to them. They will act like your friend to extract information out of you, only to use it against you later.

Knowing your Rights is only part of it. Knowing when to shut your mouth or when to talk your way out of something is another.
