Don't need a link, just a name.
Bitter, bitter. And your obsession with Rush Limbaugh is disturbing. Any chance to type out his name huh Geery ?
Get a pet dog or something, name it Rush and then disappear.
You've also chose to waste bandwith again.
Care to answer the question posed in the OP ?
You lose an election or something?

Why would you claim bailout money given to the big companies was wasted ?
Oh you must be referring to the fact any CEO or Vice Pres of a large company has in Writing they get a fat bonus check no matter if they Grow or Fail ?? Gee that must be nice ....
So what you are saying is , when GM lost profits over all , the big dawgs still got their Fat Ass Bonus Checks as promised in contract , by borrowing tax money from blue collar workers via a Bailout plan ??
Dang , just how do I apply for that job ...

You are right by saying the subprime dabacle was just a way to re-direct attention to the real problem. That wasnt the beginning of the end though. I can tell you what started the big mess of decline. The Price of Oil and Gasoline and Diesel TRIPLING did.
I remember when suddenly people were dying in their own homes because they couldnt afford to refill the oil tank with 900 dollars , and froze to death.
When we drive to the gas station and instead of paying the normal 20 dollars for a fill-up , it was suddenly 80 to 100 dollars.
Did I see my neighbors suffering because they lost their home over a subprime loan ??? Nope , infact they were doing just fine paying their average home off. Couldnt care less about any subprime losers.
But my neighbors did suffer tremendously when THEY SUDDENLY HAD TO GIVE IT ALL TO GAS AND OIL
Gas tripled , propane tripled , heating oil tripled , diesel tripled ...... Propane ???? Really ??? Propane ??? Did you say Propane .. umm WHY ? Its not Oil !!!! Wtf
Suddenly we had Truckers driving to Washington to rally about the upset. What did that accomplish ? Nothing.
Oh wait yes it did. It forced the trucking companies to pass on the added costs to FOOD they were delivering to the Poor People who already had difficulty paying for GAS and Heating oil.
WTF were the big wigs on wallstreet thinking when they began to play with the price of Oil ??
Oh thats right .... Money in their pockets !!!!!!
You want this economy to pick back up ? Ok Go back in time and shut down the fatcats screwing around with oil on Wallstreet !

So no answer to the original question yet? One posted a link to Romney's plan and said basically the same...well I guess if you can't come up with your own you might as well steal your competition's.

I see the cons are still in shock - but it's OK let it all out so the adults can get something done.

Im actually torn on the trading of oil futures.
The subprime crash has to be looked at in the context of our National economy and the ripple effect it continues to have on not only on our Nation but the world.
The majority of Americans have no clue how close we were in 2008 to an apocalyptic failure.
Sub prime may have not effected your neighbor but a clearer understanding of economy will show that it continues to effect the world.
