My employer got myself and a co-worker enrolled in an apprenticeship program through Penn Foster and I must say I am confused and quite frankly dissapointed in it. The only questions that I can see that had any bearing on the HVAC trade would be the math and three questions on basic electricity. The rest of the test covered industrial Preventitive Maint., ISO 9000, management level production questions, and quite a few others I cannot remember. I am trying to be open minded about this but I am having a very hard time with the content of this test and its relationship with the HVAC field. I get to take the second year test today to see if I can skip the second year of the program. Cant wait to see what this test holds.
