Romney's Republicans were not dirty fighters. They tried to keep it clean.

The American middle class voted. They have seen fortunes change and wealth leaving them. Now comes a politician that promises more of the same and a running mate that has a plan, search and destroy what ever security they had left. There shouldn't be any surprise.
You are misrepresenting R&R's plans the same way Obama did.

The elephant in the room is the deficit and no honest politician or economist knows quite what to do about it. I guess we could nuke foreign competition and get 20 or 30 years of prosperity down the road. It might be cheaper than to continue paying interest on it.
I think you mean debt, not deficit. The deficit is how much they overspend in a year. The debt is the total amount owed.

The way you pay down debt is the same way you pay down your credit card. You stop spending more than you earn and you make your payments large enough to cover interest and a portion of principal. If people in government can't figure that out, they need to be replaced.

That's what we tried to do.

You are about as funny as when Former President Clinton was addressing that group and asked them if they wanted a president that wouldn't tell them the truth!!! Now that's about as serious as you can take them!!

The federal governments debt is slightly different as any other debt as the federal reserve can print money. Greece is in trouble as they can't print any money, they are part of the Euro. That is the reason that the States in The United States have to have a balanced budget. The federal government does not have that. This way it has the ability to stimulate the economy short term. Over the long term the spending and the output of the nation needs to be in balance or the investors will loose confidence which will drive down the dollar. How many trillions we are in debt is really irrelevant as long the output is growing with it. More important than reducing debt is to spend the money better, which means actually investing it and not just blowing it on unproductive things.

Yeah should't have said that but for hacker to even suggest Republicans play dirty is a crime. Obama has lied about every thing under the sun while Romney was playing to nice. That really gets my goat. Thank you very much

Obama has refused to work with anyone other then his handlers, whoever they may be, so what makes you think that Obama is now going to start working with others?

You might need to consider a change in sources. Of course a person who is infatuated with such laughably lame ideologues such as Ayn Rand and Jonah Goldberg might be beyond help.

Socialism is a necessary method for government and social organizations, so why do you get offended by the term?

All governments are socialist by nature. Socialism even works better than other forms of government in some geographically remote countries with a more homogenous citizenry. The more diverse a countries citizens, the less practical a Socialist form of government is. I think we will all agree that the United States of America is far from having an homogenous population.

China is not geographically isolated, but it has kept pretty much to itself over the centuries, creating an illusion of isolation. The peoples of China are not as homogenous as the Chinese government acts like they are, and this is showing heavily in urban areas where commerce is prospering. China will either have to change much of it's Socialist ways or go back into isolation, once again creating a more homogenous populous.

So, if an American acts in a manner that is Socialist in nature, by supporting socialist programs that insist on treating each and every American "equal" under their specific guidelines of what "equal" is, why should that person be offended by being referred to as a Socialist?

It seems that Socialist minded Americans understand that Socialism is being used as a tool for leftist fascists to control the masses, and are therefore trying to avoid being referred to as something they know they are abusing.

If a person believes in socialist ways of governing, why should that person not want to identify with being a Socialist? If it walks, talks and acts like a Socialist, let's call it a socialist.

Especially since liberal fascism is so much more rampant in the U.S. The leftists have owned the term "fascist" for over a century while they themselves have employed the most fascist tactics. The warnings we should take from George Orwell's 1984 are more likely to come about under a liberal fascist than they are a conservative fascist. Leftists in the U.S. have created a Big Brother state.
