Funny scrooge, I think salty thinks or wants the Republican Party to become Marxist/socialist so we can "compete" with the Dems. The reason we lost IMHO is that Romney backed down after winning the first debate and became to moderate and nice.
He should have attacked the Dems on what they have done to our country (regulations, anti business, etc.) foreign policy (Benghazi, aiding the "Arab" Spring - Al Qaeda, etc.). Not as bad a McCain but bad enough to lose. Thank you, thank you very much"I could have ended the war in a month. I could have made North Vietnam look like a mud puddle."
"I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them."

I can hardly wait for January 1st and when people get their first pay checks.
The changes that are on the way the first of the year alone will destroy whats left of our economy.
But the idiots spoke and we suffer for their ignorance.

He's basically talking about what happens if the politicians allow us to go over the so-called "fiscal cliff".
Fiscal cliff explained
I think it is wise to read the last paragraph if nothing else. Even if compromise is not reached it is still possible to retroactively change laws even if they wait until 2013 to do it.
I think we've a lot more to worry about than this."Social networking" is an oxymoron.

Apparently Romney and Obama want to work together, putting Romney's business experience to good use in Washington...maybe just maybe this won't turn out as bad as some people are thinking.

Sigh......With the dow dropping hundreds of points and much more to come you advise someone to dump more into their 401k ?
Why not just stuff it in a blender, mix it with wheat grass, bananas and orange juice and make a really gross energy drink ?
Because thats better than throwing it into a black hole.
Most peoples retirement accounts are invested in the stock market.

Why now all the sudden ? Did Obama grow a Conscience last night ?
Hes ignored every free market stategy that works up until now.
Taxes and probably the Bush tax cuts are going up SOON so that means all middle class working Americans are having the tax rates increased...ALOT.
That does wonders for a down economy. ( sarcasm )

Six,
You are a clever guy (no doubt) and a hansom bugger (well that what you tell us), but the reason the result did not go your way is because of you and your like. Even though you have all the attributes to influence.
Did you join in the process of the election, I do not mean send 10 bucks to the party, or going to a hooray party. Did you go door knocking on people who have a different political opinion, did you offer any practical positive future, not some pipe dream without substance, or did you just slag the past and insult others who do not agree. "chimps, morons and so on"
Plus saying that Mitt was the lesser of 2 evils, what a downer on your candidate, that being the case ever heard the saying
"better the devil you know, than the devil you don't"
If you want change, get involved!

Dow is down around 300, bonds are down also, which means the investors are leaving the market.
If the investors are leaving the market, where are all the jobs going to come from Bronco promised?

The Repubs always new how to fight dirty. I hope both sides got a taste of how much damage PAC money can do when it encourages lies w/o responsibility for truth.
The American middle class voted. They have seen fortunes change and wealth leaving them. Now comes a politician that promises more of the same and a running mate that has a plan, search and destroy what ever security they had left. There shouldn't be any surprise.
The elephant in the room is the deficit and no honest politician or economist knows quite what to do about it. I guess we could nuke foreign competition and get 20 or 30 years of prosperity down the road. It might be cheaper than to continue paying interest on it.Tracers work both ways.
