I believe CPH = 2 year round is a good setting. So it sounds like in the summer months, when the system is working much harder, it would be best to leave the CPH setting at 6, then drop to 2 during the months when it is hardly needed (winter months)? Sound right? I can't imagine having the A/C run for 50 mins at a time would be good, but again, not my area of expertise...
You are right, 50 minutes is rather short.
EXCEPT in 'the winter'.
Dang machine doesn't work nearly as much as I do.!..!!
Summer in FL .. run time is 11 AM to about 7 pm.
Service it regularly .. then one can get > 15 years out of an inexpensive Armstrong unit like mine.Designer Dan
