    Years ago I worked on a Trane rooftop that used a sail switch that the inducer closed on inducer startup, then fired the burners.
    If every a...... could do this,I wouldn't have a job...

    Melting wires is also the redundant safety device for york sunlines and old aaons too. Not only protects you from the blower wheel falling off the inducer, but also protects you from a heat exchanger with big holes in it.
