    Portable Shade

I would like to get some ideas of what you guys use for a portable shade. I have been using a 10' x 10' EZ up tent, but its a little hard to set up by myself. Of corse I only set it up when I am gonna be on one unit all day. I have been thinking about getting a welders umbrella.

I bought a beach type umbrella from Costco.

It has a single spike center pole and no tilt.

Works great for summer, snow but leaks in the rain.

I use a patio umbrella and a heavy metal stand. Works okay and relatively easy to carry on the truck.
Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.

This is the shade I carry. It's 5x5x5. It stores in that little bag which has back pack straps on reverse

The thing is when I need the shade I'm on my knees working and I'm only about 3 ft off the ground. It's light weight and very easy for 1 person to handle. It takes up very little room in my service van where space is often at a premium
