    I checked out the bay just before dusk as i live a few minutes away. It was wild out there. Tomorrow, high tide ... Forget about it. ... Over here the lagoon is already almost near the top of the bulkhead.

    The wife just read on facebook the Bonner bridge , from nags head to hatteras island is shut down. Seems it's falling apart ?.

    The bridge from what I hear, including the new inlet bridge is holding up fine. There is a few houses in Rodanthe going for a swim. Hwy 12 is flooded, with a breach in between Frisco and Hatteras currently, but nothing has cut through to the sound side to my knowledge. I pray that it remains no worse then this.

    The surf is up though. Here is a pic of the Avalon pier >

    BTW, the waves are going over it as well.

    These folks do not know too, now think about NY for a sec..... they are screwed.

    This thing is not hitting hurricane country, it will be seeking the new and fresh this go around.

    People are dumb and their gonna die in numbers, because there dumb.

    PLEASE if your in the path of this thing and you are anywhere close to water, get the F out of the way it !
