i have met many people who have inherited companies and would not have a clue how to service any of their clients needs but have the attitude that their employees owe them when actually the owners should be greatful for them

That is interesting. I know that in California (I thought it was nationwide), if you call an ex-employer of a potential new hire, all they could say is whether you worked there or not. I may be wrong on this and hopefully someone will correct me if I am.
The can not say if you were a good or bad worker or if you were late a lot. Only that you had worked there and for how long. Can someone please explain to me -
Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?
