    lol...this is normal here in phoenix....its even worse when you got a package unit on the roof and there is all tile roof with no walk way to the unit....should interesting in the winter time for the resi guys

    Manny, why are there so many residential rooftop a/c's there in AZ? Are splits outlawed or something?

    No not at all there is plenty of splits around here. Sometimes I wish there were more rooftop units. When i used to do residential i always hated crawling in attics in the middle of the summer to do repairs. Just thinking about it makes me sweat.

    Yep, I did hvac in phx for 5 yrs and can't tell u how many tiles I broke on roofs, retarded!!!! Then someone will put a long box tempstar on it w the the service door up the roof, brilliant no doubt. Idiots are abundant in this trade.
