If I could sell my houses I'd think about it, looks like a cool place, I would have to have animals I could kill and eat though.

Is it the Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Association? That's what came up when I googled RMGA.

Good question! What is RMGA? I've been working here in Utah for over 30 years and never heard of it until I decided to start teaching part time (hvac/r) I've been commercial and industrial and not having had to do residential so when my new boss at the school asked me if I had my RMGA I gave him the "deer in the head lights" look and said: Aaaaaaa..... what's that? Well, the first class I taught was the course to learn what needed to be learned for the RMGA after teaching it I decided to take the test and "WaaLaa" I now have the "coveted" RMGA certificate.......

I still haven't answered your question, I know... sorry....

What is stands for is "Rocky Mountain Gas Association" The local gas company, which covers a very large area, requires anyone working residential hvac to go through and pass this course to get certified. It covers all the aspects of residential heating and air conditioning. It's actually very good information. I have to admit that I learned a lot. Of course in order to teach others I figured I had better understand it completely which made me "first" the student and "second" the teacher.

So now you know..... I think it's only important for use in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.... however it's very useful no matter where you are. Just something that is required locally in order to work on residential.

I would imagine they have something similar where you are located.... Am I correct?

Easy there pal, he's an hour behind us.

We also have a state certification to work on lp gas, but doesn't have anything to do with air conditioning.
