Can anyone explain why pressure drop across tev is important to the operation of the valve?

when their are no difference, that means mostly equil pressure in the bulb and in the evaporator ,the needle will firmly fixed on the seat and blocked totaly the way between liquid line and evaporator in good adjusted tev.Other two cases lead either to straved or flooded evaporator. When the compressor starts causes pressure drops, which leads the pressur force in the bulb to overcome the opposit two forces of the evaporator going down pressure and adjustable spring power the needel opens and the refrigerant begins to flow across the etv .
