ditto, did one today. flux, 15 percent worked perfect. spent more time on the pressure test and vacuum than I did on the repair.

Don't use 15% on steel unless you are certain that it doesn't contain phosphorus, it will make the steel brittle and prone to cracking

Never used anything but 56% and paste flux. Just have to have a good plan because taking the joint back apart can sometimes prove to be a real pain. Sure does shine up nice when you're done though. My old boss had a certain dislike for stay brite which, despite not having used it, I adopted.

45% blue flux coated rods. Works on copper-steel, copper-brass, concrete-wood
. Flows real well. Only use 8% on liquid and suction connections, TXVs and such.

Harris Safety-Silv 56 is what I use. Very pricey though. I hate welding steel to copper. I will convert to ASE if possible. Like on a sweat service valves for a semi-hermetic.
