Commercial refrigeration companies: what are your rates?
I am a licensed and insured c-38 contractor with 8 years f/t in the field. However, this is my first year in business as owner/operator. Now that the heat is off and calls have slowed,I am working on several proposals for commercial service contracts in So. Cal area.
Please don't think I want to impose on anyone's business by asking this but....can I have a sampling of your rates in contracts with existing or past clients? My hypothetical to company (A) would be 95.00 regular hours trip and diagnosis (double that after hours), 120.00 hourly labor charge, flat rate travel of $50.00 per hour after first 1/2 hour of travel, 80% flat rate material markup.
This is just an example. I have not yet negotiated any rates. Thanks.

Are you really going to mark up a 7,000 dollar rooftop unit 80 percent ?
